Job Ttile – Android Developer
Experience level – 1.5 to 3 years

Job Description
We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Requirements-
1. Good understanding of the mobile development life cycle and Android SDK
2. Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies-
3. Sound knowledge of Java, Object Oriented programming
4. Hands-on experience in User Interface Development- Should have published one or more Android apps on the Play Store
5. Knowledge of JSON parsing and REST Web Services- Exposure to Analytics Tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
6. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
7. Development Environment Setup and Performance optimization of android apps, Use of memory analyzing tools etc.
8. Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications, Google Api, FCM
9. Familiar With Material Design

Responsibilities
1. Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
2. Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
3. Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
4. Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
5. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
6. Design interfaces to improve user experience
7. Collaborate with Business Analysts team to plan new features
8. Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
9. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends in Android ecosystem
